1st CIRP Conference on Surface Integrity (CSI)

Surface Integrity

The CSI will serve as a platform for the collection and dissemination of new knowledge on
surface integrity and its influence on part quality and the functional performance of manufac-
tured components. Recent innovations in machining processes, surface metrology and simulation
will be discussed comprehensively, to allow for a better understanding of the influence of the
surface integrity on functionality.
